Built to Celebrate the Great Outdoors

From the well-stocked book shelves, wood burning stove and unbeatable views, Ty Draw is a cottage that does the hard work of unwinding for you! It sleeps four, in two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Outside, you will find a seated area to soak up the sunsets and star gaze at night, for some of the most uninterrupted night views in the UK.

Sequence – M4 – A48 – A40 – A487.

  • Follow M4 to the very end at junction 49.
  • Take 2nd exit at roundabout – A48 signposted to Carmarthen. Continue for approx 16 miles
  • At Carmarthen go straight over 1st round about (traffic lights) and then left at the 2nd round about. Signposted A40 – St Clears / Fishguard
  • Continue to the end of the dual carriageway and take the 2nd exit – signposted Fishguard / Haverfordwest.
  • Continue on the A40 to Haverfordwest.
  • As you enter Haverfordwest turn left at the 1st round about (s/p St Davids); ½ mile turn right at the 2nd round about (but then go straight on rather than bearing left at the lights into the town centre); ¼ mile turn left at next round about (s/p St Davids); ¼ mile turn right at round about (s/p St Davids – A487); ½ mile turn right at round about onto A487 to St Davids.
  • Pass through Keeston, Roch & Solva and continue into St Davids.
  • Stay on that road and follow it round to the right after St Davids Cross – in the town centre – s/p Fishguard A487. Follow the road out of the one-way system, towards Fishguard.
    ¼ mile after the end of the one-way system bear left just before the rugby club – s/p Whitesands Bay / Traeth Mawr. After 200 yards turn left – s/p Whitesands Bay.
  • After ¾ mile you will come to a crossroads. Turn right (brown s/p – Lleithyr Farm – camp site). Take the 2nd turning on the left – s/p Treleddyd-fawr & ‘no through road’.
  • Continue to the very end of the metalled road and onto the unmade section. Continue through stone pillars and past the barn, towards the pink farmhouse. Ty Uchaf is the pink house straight ahead and Ty Draw is on the right. For Glowty, pass through the gate in front of the farmhouse. It is just to the right of the farmhouse.

A Peaceful Escape, Rooted in Welsh heritage
  • Recommended route – via A494 through Mold, Ruthin, and Bala.
  • Road becomes A487 which is the same right through to St Davids.
  • Follow signs initially to Machynlleth, then Aberystwyth, Cardigan and Fishguard.
  • At Fishguard go through Lower Fishguard, over narrow bridge and up the hill into Fishguard itself. At roundabout in town centre take 1st exit – signposted Haverfordwest.
  • At next round-about take the 2nd exit – s/p A40 Wig / Goodwick.
  • At next round-about take 1st exit s/p A40 Wig / Goodwick
  • Pass Texaco garage and Tesco Express
  • At round-about take 1st exit – s/p A487 St Davids
  • Follow that road for around 15 miles – passing Mathry, Square & Compass, Croesgoch & Carnhedryn.
  • As you come into St Davids there are 30mph signs. On the right is St Davids Rugby Club. Take the 1st turning on the right s/p Whitesands / Treth Mawr.
  • After 150 yards turn left – s/p Whitesands.
  • After ¾ mile there is a crossroads – turn right – no s/p (except ‘brown sign’ to Lleithyr Farm)
  • Take the 2nd turning on the left (1/2 mile) – s/p Treleddyd and ‘No Through Road’
  • At very end of the metalled section it becomes unmade.
  • Continue to the very end of the metalled road and onto the unmade section. Continue through stone pillars and past the barn, towards the pink farmhouse. Ty Uchaf is the pink house straight ahead and Ty Draw is on the right. For Glowty, pass through the gate in front of the farmhouse. It is just to the right of the farmhouse.
